I am an Energy Healing Practitioner, certified in 3 comprehensive levels of training at the Energy Healing Institute. My practice, Radiance Revealed, has been located at Heartwood Center for the past 3 years. I love calling Heartwood my practice home.

I work with clients who are deeply committed to their inner work, facilitating clearing sessions and sharing tools and practices for their ongoing healing. I regularly contribute articles to the Heartwood newsletter, and speak and offer workshops in the Evanston area. Partnering with clients is a privilege, and I love sharing the efficacy and practicality of Energy Healing with interested learners. Come see me at Heartwood!

At the core of every healing journey is a longing for wholeness—a remembering of who we are beneath stress, conditioning, or disconnection. VortexHealing® Divine Energy Healing works at this deep level, supporting transformation of body, emotions, mind, and spirit. It helps clear the energetic roots of physical symptoms, emotional pain, and unconscious patterns, making space for greater freedom, vitality, and peace.

Your first session begins with a conversation about what’s arising in your life and what you feel ready to explore. About 45 minutes are then dedicated to channeling VortexHealing energies while you sit comfortably in a chair. During the session, people often experience warmth, subtle shifts, or a sense of peace. Some feel physical sensations or emotional release; others simply feel held in a deep field of stillness. We close with time to integrate and discuss next steps.

I’ve trained in energy healing for many years and have been a certified VortexHealing practitioner for five years. To each session I bring a grounded, intuitive presence, and deep respect for your unique path.

Sessions are available in person at the Heartwood Center in Evanston or online. Both are equally effective. Wherever you are, this work can meet you—and help you come home to yourself.

Over 25 years ago, my first shiatsu session began a life long journey of self-discovery and delving into the holistic wisdom of Asian medicine modalities.  I love that this form of bodywork takes into account the entire person; body, mind and spirit.  As a Zen Shiatsu Practitioner, I have witnessed the healing power of shiatsu in assisting my clients to navigate the seasons and transitions of life with more strength and resilience.  Whether the focus of our sessions is of a physical or emotional nature, shiatsu supports the body’s wise and innate healing capacity, clearing the path for optimal well-being and engaging in life more fully.

Shiatsu is a form of Asian bodywork that supports health and well-being by balancing the energy of the body with gentle pressure and stretching.  The client wears comfortable clothing that allows for stretching and ease of movement.  Each session is tailored to the client’s individual needs. I incorporate shiatsu, massage, energy work, meditation, qigong, taichi and 5 element theory.

Rev. Courtney Bossarte

I help people release physical, emotional, and energetic pain—not by managing symptoms, but by clearing what no longer belongs. My work is rooted in spiritual attunement and supported by over ten integrative modalities, including energy healing practices, somatic therapies, intuitive astrology, and spiritually based coaching.

Each session is intuitive and responsive, guided by what your system reveals and what you consciously bring forward. Whether you’re navigating chronic tension, emotional overwhelm, or the invisible weight of old narratives, this work helps you return to your clarity, vitality, and internal steadiness.

This is not about fixing—it’s about releasing what distorts the truth of who you are.

People often leave in less pain—physically, emotionally, mentally.

Not numbed. Not bypassed.

But cleared. Different.

What once lived in their system—grief, tightness, the story behind their jaw or gut—simply isn’t there.

And in its place: space, breath, and the return of something they thought they’d lost.

“It’s the way she shows up—present, steady, and without agenda—that invites the system to settle and something essential to shift.”

What I love most about practicing Shiatsu is the way it makes me develop myself as human being. Whether from a minor ankle injury or from years of emotional trauma, working to help people heal has brought out the depths of my own sensitivity, strength, and capacity to do good.

My second favorite thing about Shiatsu is that I get to work with the physical body! This means feeling the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual as one thing – a life. It is a joy to help people to feel that great goodness of life in themselves!

I graduated from Vassar College with a concentration in Studio Art and a secondary focus in Biology. My Shiatsu certification was earned at Zen Shiatsu Chicago in Evanston; shortly thereafter, I completed their Post-Graduate program in Clinical Shiatsu studies. I currently study Shiatsu with my main influence and dear mentor, Grandmother WinterJade Forest.
