Mindfulness meditation is a powerful tool for cultivating peace of mind and present moment awareness. It is a path to embodiment, healing, and awakening to oneness with all life. Mindfulness is easy to learn. If you can count and breathe, you can learn to meditate.
In my work as a mindfulness meditation guide and teacher, I share practices that help clients cultivate freedom from afflictive emotions and unproductive mental habits. A typical session will include time for learning new tools and practicing them. When appropriate, I may suggest integrating Qigong and/or energy healing into a session. My process is holistic and intuitively guided with each session tailored to your needs.
I bring three decades of mindfulness practice to my work, including three years of residential training in Zen Buddhism. I offer mindfulness-based coaching and teach mindfulness meditation and “integral life practice” at DePaul University.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with additional training in addictions, hypnotherapy, Gestalt therapy and Self Acceptance Training. I hold a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Chicago. For over 20 years, I have counseled individuals, couples and groups regarding issues including addictions and recovery work, identity, codependency, self-care, relationship issues, personal growth, and spiritual awareness. Recognizing that healing needs to take place in the mind, body, spirit and emotions, I utilize a holistic approach. This includes special guided imagery techniques available for individuals with chronic illness. My available hours are Monday through Friday and Saturday mornings.

I’m an Educational Kinesiologist, specializing in human development, and Certified Applied Mindfulness Specialist. For the past 17 years, I’ve used my proprietary MK Method® and NeuroMindfulness™ to help children reach their fullest potential and adults break free from endless stress to achieve emotional freedom.
My MK Method® and NeuroMindfulness™, based on human development and mindfulness, shows people how to stop reacting from the database of past patterns in the brain that’s causing them to repeat the same behaviors, make the same choices, get the same outcomes — basically stay stuck.
Instead, I teach them how to listen to and respond from their body and heart’s wisdom, allowing them to release the past and act intentionally in the present moment. This work allows them to live happy, dynamic, and free lives — the way we’re designed to.
I hold certifications in Educational and Developmental Kinesiology (BI) and Applied Specialization in Mindfulness (University of Toronto Faculty of Social Work).
