Foundations of Presence Through Mindfulness Meditation

April 5, 2023 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 9:30 am on Friday, repeating until April 28, 2023

Hina invites you to join her in this foundational mindfulness meditation course to cultivate foundations in presence that support you in your well-being.

This course will teach you all that you need to know about beginning and sustaining practices of mindfulness in daily life. You will learn mindfulness of breath, body, thoughts, and ways to bring this into the everyday.

Mindfulness practices strengthen you in supporting your physical and emotional health, balance stress and anxiety,  improve immune function, enhance your relationships, and resource you in challenging moments. You will learn through talks, as well as experiential practices, with opportunities for inquiry.

There is a beginner level, and no prerequisite is required. As it will be conducted virtually, you can learn in the comfort of your own home.

Wednesdays, 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM CST

This course is taught live, via Zoom.

This course is for National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coaches (NBC-HWC) and provides 6 hours of continuing education units. You will receive an official certificate of completion with CE credit hours.

Hina Pitroda
Being still and centering with mindfulness opens up our wisdom and deepens our connection to ourselves, our lives, and all that is around us. Adding self-compassion fills your cup so the kindness within you is liberated.
I offer group classes in meditation and self-compassion, as well as one-on-one guidance options. My practices center on breath, body, thoughts, emotions, kindness, compassion, pain, fear, forgiveness, and more.
I hold the two-year mindfulness meditation teacher certification from Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach, and was trained by The Center for Mindful Self-Compassion.
As an Indian woman who immigrated to the U.S. in my youth, and has lived in three different countries, I am very conscientious of diversity, equity, and a multicultural focus. I am passionate about helping people cultivate practices that support them in achieving a higher self-awareness, leading them on a road to happiness.

Credentials:

  • Masters in Health and Wellness Coaching (Integrative Practices specialization). Maryland University of Integrative Health
