Heartwood is happy to announce a new class that introduces the foundations of meditation to youth ages 10-14. No sign up is required for this weekly drop-in class conveniently located at Dempster and Dodge. Meditation teacher and community leader Nancy Floy, who founded the Heartwood Center, will utilize her vast experience as a teacher and life-long practitioner to help students discover their spacious minds and innate goodness through meditation.
This is a drop-in class but please contact Lisa Applegate before your first class for information on access to the building, parking, and instructions for entering the meditation room.
Date: Saturdays beginning October 14
Time: 5-6pm
Place: Heartwood Center, 1818 Dempster St. in Evanston
Cost: Families are asked to donate $10-15 each session, or whatever they are able to give
