DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, February 25\, 2 – 4 pm at Heartwood. \nChinese New Year began on February 16th and lasts for fifteen days. This is the Year of the Dog. \nHosted by Arlene Faulk and her Tai Chi students\, we will all move our energy with some Tai Chi and QiGong. We will also learn more about Cheng Man-ch’ing\, Tai Chi grandmaster\, calligrapher and poet\, who was instrumental in bringing Tai Chi to the United States. He developed the Yang style form Arlene teaches. We will view an excellent documentary\, “Journey to the West”\, seeing him in action and hearing from students of his in New York\, who studied with him in the 1960s and 70s. \n \n[display-posts post_type=”practitioners” include_content=”true” display-posts wrapper=”div” image_size=”full” id=”8304″ order=”ASC” orderby=”name”]
