HEARTWOOD FOUNDATION:
NOT-FOR-PROFIT PROGRAMS

Heartwood Foundation sponsors not-for-profit activities to expand their mission to promote women's health. Working both domestically and internationally, we strive to bring hope and healing to people in need. Heartwood Foundation provides administrative services and raises funds for two major initiatives:

Heartwood Foundation Tibet Girls School

Heartwood Foundation has created its first vocational boarding school for girls ages 14 to 20 to help Nomad yak herding families provide more opportunities for the next generation.
For more info, see Tibet Girls School.

Heartwood's Women and Cancer Program

Heartwood provides free holistic healthcare for women with cancer and financial need through this successful program, now in its fifth year.

For example, every dollar provides one girl with one day of shelter, food and instruction at the Heartwood Tibet Girls School.

Many Thanks to Our Generous Contributors!

Heartwood Foundation is deeply grateful for the generous contributions we have received. Whole Foods Market North, 1640 Chicago Avenue, is partnering with our Women and Cancer Program for the Whole Hearts venture. In a debut event, the program was their charitable recipient for 5% Day, October 23. Proceeds from the day's sales — and from sales of their recycled tote bags — resulted in a contribution of more than $5,500.

Artist Tanya Sugarman recently committed to an ongoing contribution of 10% of sales of her captivating artwork.
