We are delighted to welcome everyone to our new space at the 1818 Dempster building. Have you been by to see us since the move in early September? If not, ring up your practitioner for an appointment or check in with your favorite class.

Heartwood 1818 DempsterHeartwood's acupuncturists, massage therapists, psychotherapists and bodywork specialists are settling into their beautiful new treatment rooms, many with natural light and fresh colors to inspire and rejuvenate you. The second-floor yoga and tai chi studio also enjoys streaming natural light along with hardwood floors. The multiple bathrooms are all wheelchair accessible. There are slate stone floors, granite, lots of light, but most of all the feeling is uplifted and very beautiful and peaceful.

Located near the intersection of Dempster and Dodge, Heartwood is now the flagship business in the renovated building. Now Open! (see map)

Heartwood Center, 1818 Dempster, Evanston

Nancy Floy and her husband Asang (Executive Director of Tsogyaling Meditation Center of Evanston) purchased the new building which includes all the amenities currently offered by Heartwood, including office space rentals, a common office area for practitioners and a bigger studio/classroom space for yoga, tai chi and more. In addition to Heartwood Center, this location will provide space for Tsogyaling Meditation Center of Evanston, Heartwood's Women and Cancer Program and the Northside Rebuilding Exchange, a green company that works with recycled building materials.

The Dempster bus that picks up at the Davis stop arrives in front of our building in about 10 minutes. Free street parking is available and you can use the Evanston Plaza shopping center lot in the southwest corner of the Dempster/Dodge intersection near Subway. (The signs say they will tow, but the property management company has graciously waved the restriction for Heartwood.)

Classroom, Event Rentals

Rent our lovely new classroom for your workshop, seminars and events. The 1,000 square-foot classroom/studio features hardwood floors, natural light and is perfect for ongoing classes, as well as weekend events.
