Learn the basics of mindful meditation and compassion practices. Settle your mind to relax and ease the stress of any mental and physical challenges. Manifest peace in the world by starting with our own minds. Asang and Nancy Floy—cofounders of Tsogyaling Meditation Center of Evanston—offer peaceful mindfulness meditation practice to people of all beliefs.
$10 suggestion donation. More if you can; less if you cannot. Proceeds benefit the Tibet Girls School, a vocational boarding school for Tibetan nomads.

meditation group explores mindfulness practices designed to calm the mind,

Charlotte Christian, MS, LAc, teaches Pranayama for Physical and Mental Health. Pranayama is the science and art of yogic breathing. Practiced since ancient times in India, it is an integral part of the yogasutras given by Rishi Patangali, 3,000—4,000 years ago. Today, Pranayama can be practiced to manage stress, prevent disease and maintain physical and mental health.

Meridian Yoga quietly nurtures a conscious and intentional union of one's mind, body and spirit. for women of all ages, shapes, and sizes, and addresses the many physical, emotional, and spiritual challenges we face
from our child-bearing years to our golden years. Students will learn inspiring ways of addressing issues such as PMS,
infertility, menopause, fatigue, weight loss, and depression. Basic belly dance moves will be used as a warm-up along with
Middle Eastern and yoga music. Breath, belly massage, and visualization will also be explored. Hand-outs included.
