What will you get out of the Focusing & Mindfulness  class? A supportive group where you can practice a way of listening to yourself and others that you can use at any moment; a way of being calm and clear in the midst of stress; a way of trusting your own experiencing and discovering the next steps to move forward in any situation.

Highlights from the class:

“I became much more compassionate with myself. This was something I struggled with in the past.

“I learned to check in with my body and the sensations it is experiencing, and how to move forward when I was stuck or at an impasse within myself.”

“I learned how to focus on my experiencing to be more present when I’m in an emotional situation.”

What makes Focusing different? Focusing is body-oriented, not just words. It’s about paying attention to your felt sense of a situation and making your feelings clearer so you can use them to guide your next steps. Focusing empowers you to make choices from a deeper awareness and get in touch with your own inner knowing.
