Focusing

Meditation
Asang and Nancy Floy—cofounders of Tsogyaling Meditation Center of Evanston—offer Tibetan Buddhist Meditation classes to people of all beliefs. Learn the basics of mindful meditation and compassion practices. Settle your mind to relax and ease the stress of any mental or physical challenges. Pranayama (Yogic Breathing)
Charlotte Christian, MS, LAc, teaches Pranayama for Physical and Mental Health. Pranayama is the science and art of yogic breathing. Practiced since ancient times in India, it is an integral part of the yogasutras given by Rishi Patangali, 3,000—4,000 years ago. Ellie Pickering, LAc, MSOM, CMT, leads Yoga for Women’s Health designed
for women of all ages, shapes, and sizes. The class addresses the many physical, emotional, and spiritual challenges women face
from the child-bearing years to the golden years. She brings her knowledge and training in Traditional Chinese Medicine and massage therapy to her gentle-natured approach as a yoga instructor.
