Heartwood is delighted to present new works by local artists in our center. Come by and see the changing gallery.
Now Showing: Munsel School in Tibet
The Munsel School is a boarding school for children of nomadic yak herders in the Nangchen Region of Eastern Tibet. Heartwood is sponsoring this exhibit as part of a fundraiser for the Heartwood Tibet Girls School, a boarding school for girls ages 12 to 20. The goal is $6,000 to create a sister school for these older girls and will cover one year of clothing, food, books and teaching.
To make your tax-deductible contribution, visit the exhibit at Heartwood or contact Nancy Floy at 847.491.1122 x11. Proceeds from Nancy and Asang's Friday evening Mindfulness Meditation class also benefit the Heartwood Tibet Girls School.
