IN LOVING MEMORY: BARBARA BECKER

On July 31, 2009, Heartwood said goodbye to beloved teacher, Barbara Becker. Barbara was our first yoga teacher at Heartwood bringing the beautiful practice of yoga to our community. We miss her and her spirit will always be here at our center.

When a chaplain asked Barbara if she had anything she would like to say, she left these final words:

Thank you to everyone
Love to you all
Listen to this wonderful story:
Love is all it's about
Happiness is based on our love
Listen with love and loving kindness

Love is good
I'm surrounded by love
& I'll take that with me.

Barbara died four hours later at 9:10 p.m.
